In 2007, it is expected that 178,480 Americans and 22,300 Canadians will be diagnosed with breast cancer. During April, May and June, Carpet One Floor & Home stores throughout North America will contribute 25% from the sales of specially-designed pink ribbon welcome mats towards breast cancer research and awareness. Funds raised in the United States will go to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation® while funds raised in Canada will go to the Canadian Cancer Society. In addition to a monetary donation, Carpet One Floor & Home stores are also raising awareness for the cause by providing informational brochures in their communities.
